In a massive upset in traditionally liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown has defeated Democratic candidate Martha Coakley.
Brown’s victory robs Democrats of the 60th vote needed to block Republican fillibusters and will most likely pose a huge threat to President Obama’s proposed health care overhall.
