Kinky Friedman has announced he will leave the Texas Governor’s race and pursue a bid for Agricultural Commissioner.
Friedman said he made the decision after consulting with other Gubernatorial candidates Bill White and Farouk Shami over the weekend.
Hank Gilbert, also a former candidate for Governor, announced his intent to seek the Democratic nomination for Ag Commissioner last week.
